Author Guidelines

In addition to studies of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century poetry and prose, JDJ also publishes short notes, announcements, reviews, and descriptions of manuscripts, texts, and documents. Unsolicited book reviews are not accepted.

Articles, normally not to exceed 75 typewritten pages, should follow the JDJ Style Sheet and must be anonymized. To anonymize your Microsoft Word file (our preferred format), select “file” and then “info”; then click “Inspect Document, and select “Inspect Document” and answer “yes”; then follow the prompts to conclude the process.  Authors of accepted essays should provide the final copy in Microsoft Word format.
